Rainbow River

This space is provided for intergenerational LGBTQIA2S+ people to come together, explore the natural world, and build community.

Program Location: Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach

Meeting Place: Parking Lot

LGBTQIA2S+ folx come together to play in parks. Learn fun nature facts and share your nature knowledge as we explore this river park together. You can also enjoy a swim at the only lifeguarded beach on the lower Russian River. Our summer series is in partnership with "Social Saturdays" by Positive Images.

*Registration encouraged but not required.

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Please let us know ahead of time if you have accessibility needs so we can best support your experience. Parking fees apply but are waived with a Regional Parks membership pass.
