Litter Pick-Up…and More

July 22, 2026 | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

There’s always something that needs tending in the park!

Program Location: Spring Lake Regional Park

Meeting Place: Newanga Entrance, Boat Launch

These recurring workdays focus on whatever needs attention in the park. There will usually be litter to pick up, and sometimes there are other priorities: trail maintenance, park infrastructure repair, and more. All tools, gloves, and materials supplied. Snacks, refreshments and additional support of Regional Parks’ volunteer programs generously provided by Sonoma County Parks Foundation: https://www.sonomacountyparksfoundation.org/.

*Registration required.

We recommend participants dress in layers, wear comfortable, closed toe hiking shoes and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Ages 13 and under require a parent or guardian present. Ages 14–17 may participate independently with a signed permission slip (email to request permission slip). Please let us know ahead of time if you have accessibility needs so we can best support your experience. Parking fees are waived for volunteers.
